Engineering Technician

Direct hire opening with our client for an Engineering Technician. Looking for someone with 1 to 5
years of experience in preparing civil/site development and construction plans. Pay will be based on experience level.
Responsibilities
Prepare civil/site development and construction plans utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D.
Design and analyze piping networks for various projects.
Perform cut and fill analysis for earthmoving operations.
Develop and maintain templates and standards within Autodesk Civil 3D.
Conduct 3D surface modeling and earthwork analysis.
Design street profiles and corridors to meet project requirements.
Create sewer pipe networks and associated infrastructure designs.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
Technical school certificate or higher in related field a plus
1 to 5
years of experience in preparing civil/site development and construction plans.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, version 2016 or higher
Experience with templates and standards development within Autodesk Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of 3D surface modeling and earthwork analysis techniques.
Familiarity with street profile and corridor design principles.
Knowledge of sewer pipe networks and related infrastructure design considerations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
