IT Generalist
Insight Global is looking for a IT Generalist to support a client within the consumer banking industry located in Sewickley, PA.
As an IT Specialist you will support multiple IT functions across the bank including Desktop Support, Networking, Security, and System Administration.
You will be able to gain experience through mentorship and hands on training across a variety of new technologies and develop skills within more advanced areas of infrastructure/ support.
Day to day responsibilities include - Oversee the day-to-day operations of computer infrastructure including systems and workstations, hardware/software support, training, and special projects - Provide user access and security for network services, such as user file storage, network printing, and internet connectivity to authorized departments and employees - Establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security - Research, analyze, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve workstation hardware and data network problems - Maintain, update and repair the network servers, printers and workstations - Troubleshoot problems, configure hardware and software, implement back up processes and assess systems for upgrades or replacement - Provide primary support for antivirus/antispyware systems and software - Research and evaluate new technologies related to computer networking - Assist in planning, coordinating and consulting with vendors and clients for hardware/software purchases, product services and support - Recommended and specify the purchase of related products and services Keep current policies and procedures regarding new hardware/software products for system enhancements TCP/IP - Associates degree in any IT related field - 0-1 years or experience or internship experience in an IT related position - VMWare - MS Server 2016-2019 - MS 365 SQL Recommended Skills Coaching And Mentoring Infrastructure Management Microsoft Servers Networking Problem Solving Remote File Sharing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
