This person must have an impeccable work ethic and ability to establish patient rapport with children, as this is a pediatric office.
Job duties will include the following:
coronal polishing for child prophies, and possibly assisting with dental procedures.
The EFDA is also responsible for assisting the dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary, providing great patient care, recording treatment information in patient records, and the ordering and stocking of supplies.
Requirements:
MUST BE EFDA!!! Must be OK with doing cleanings and taking X-rays (this will be majority of your job) Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program w/ coronal polishing certificate Dental x-ray certification High school diploma or equivalent CURRENT CPR/ PALS CERTIFICATION Experience using computers for a variety of tasks Good written and verbal communication skills Consistently professional appearance and attitude Able to provide great patient care Job Types:
